University Rugby Football Club was established in 2001 to develop local players from within the Hong Kong University community. While always maintaining this ethos, and enjoying success along the way, URFC has evolved into a three team club that, not only, seeks to foster young Hong Kong rugby talent but also a high level of social rugby.

The club attracts members from Hong Kong and abroad drawing in seasoned social players, players wanting to get back into the game and those who are yet to experience the joys of contact rugby. Fielding teams across 3 divisions of competition ensure that our members can compete at their desired level.

Home is Sandy Bay, Hong Kong's only seaside pitch, where we have weekly training sessions run by our qualified coach and play the majority of our games. The club subsidises the coaching, kit, game day refreshments and a plethora of rugby events throughout the year.

We blend youth with experience and competitive rugby with plenty of social activities. Our nights out at our sponsors Dublin Jacks, our junk trips and our renowned annual tour are the stuff of legend (really). University Rugby Football Club offers its members a unique rugby experience and a strong team environment. We invite players of all levels to join us.
